A striking metal wall mural depicting a tree spirit. The piece was made by casting reel wood in metal using Organic Casting (the process of casting organic material like leaves, flowers, twigs etc in brass to replicate the patterns and textures in nature) and leaves made with brass were added to it. The head is made using the Rock Dhokra process and has been put together with the piece. The tree spirit acts as the guardian of the forest and stands as symbol of strength and resilience.

About the Technique: Organic casting is an evolution of the Dhokra process, in which organic material (like leaves, fruits, flowers, shells, twigs etc) along with wax work is cast in brass. Through this process we are able to replicate the patterns and textures in nature.
