Nature is an important inspiration for the work that we do at Devrai. This painting is a moment captured in the Devrai forest garden. Sunbirds have been captured on a Jade vine plant with turquoise flowers. The metal flowers were made by casting the actual ones using the organic casting process. A bird made using the Dhokra technique is also humming around the flowers.

About the Technique: The metal mural range is made using the molten brass poured on the ground to form abstract shapes. It is often a combination of these abstract shapes with some hand crafted or organic ones as an integral part of a painting on canvas. The painting is made using acrylic colours on canvas.
