The necklace features a brass pendant made using the traditional Dhokra process, with a peacock feather design. After the pendant is made, the threads are added, and decorated with a mix of beads to complete the piece. The length of the threads is adjustable.

About the Technique: Dhokra is an ancient form of metal art, also known as lost wax casting. The sculpture is made in wax first, a mould is made around it, and during casting the wax is replaced by brass, thus the name ‘lost wax casting’.
