Rock Dhokra & Dhokra work 

Create your own unique sculpture using our patented process of fusing stone and brass. You may do the wax-work, and it will be cast in brass and couriered to you.

Duration: Minimum 1 day for a sculpture upto 5 inches

Cost: Rs 3000 per day (shipping charges not included)

Jewellery craft - A Unique Devrai Process

Jewellery design using any of our unique processes like Rock Dhokra, Terracotta and Ceramic pieces fused with brass. You may do the wax-work, and it will be cast in brass and couriered to you.

Duration: 2.5 hours

Cost: Rs 3000 per person (shipping charges not included)

Molten Metal Murals 

Create your own painting on an A4 size framed canvas, incorporating elements of brass, both handcrafted and solidified molten brass.

Duration: 2.5 hours

Cost: Rs 3000 per person

With prior notice, you can sign up to do a workshop whenever you like. Workshop duration is flexible – the more time you invest, the more you learn. You will be given a basic orientation and get to work alongside our artisans who will guide you in your efforts. Internship Programme

Devrai Art Village offers internships to art and design students to pursue projects that have synergies with our work. Among others, we have had students from Srishti School of Design (Bangalore), Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (Jaipur) and from IUT, Brest, France. Students are encouraged to learn from our master craftsmen, contribute fresh design ideas and co-create work.

 

Artist residencies and Collaboration

Devrai Art Village welcomes artists, craftsmen and designers to contribute and collaborate with our craftsmen and create a space for mutual learning. Experimentation with different mediums and integration of diverse arts and crafts is what gives Devrai its unique stamp. Although we began with Dhokra and Bamboo craft, we have now incorporated Stone sculpting, beaten ironwork, pottery, painting, wood carving and even weaving in our creative endeavours.
